Description
Our interaction with everyday objects is a profound yet often overlooked relationship. It’s fascinating to explore how we connect with furniture in our daily routines. This particular piece of furniture is inspired by our engagement with a clothes rack. When do we use it? Perhaps when friends come over, or when we casually toss our belongings onto it after a long day. The hanging clothes resemble people in motion, and when the rack is in use, it evokes the image of a group of people walking from one side to the other, like a scene captured in time-lapse photography. It embodies the presence of your friends and reflects a part of yourself as well. Through this design, I aim to evoke a sense of joy and companionship. The two figures are depicted holding hands, with another hand extended, inviting someone else to join. Furniture, in this context, becomes more than just a functional object; it becomes a supportive presence that fosters a deep, personal connection within your most intimate spaces.
